Updated 18 September 2023

This Policy describes the cookies and other similar technologies which D+H Cheque Services Corporation, (“we”, “our”, “us”, “D+H”) uses in connection with our Service websites, and through our online services that link to this Notice (collectively the "Sites"). Cookies may not contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal data that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies. For any personal data collected through the use of cookies and similar technologies, our Privacy Policy also applies and complements this Policy.

Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the device used to access our Sites. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by your web browser on your device (such as your computer or smartphone). This information might be about you, your preferences or your device and is mostly used to make our Sites work as you expect them to. Similar technologies include local objects (sometimes called flash cookies), web beacons, pixels, or any technology that stores or accesses information on your device. The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalised web experience. Information gathered through cookies and similar technologies may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Sites, and the website visited just before and just after our Sites.

  • Similar to other commercial websites, our Sites utilize standard technology called "cookies" and similar technologies to collect information about how our Sites are used.
  • We use cookies or similar technologies to track users’ movements around our Sites, administer our Sites, analyze trends, serve targeted advertisements, provide social media features, and gather demographic information about those who visit our Sites. This information is collected on an aggregate basis.
  • Session cookies will expire at the end of your session and are deleted automatically when you close your browser and persistent cookies remain on your device after the browser is closed and are only used to re-identify you upon your next visit.
  • We use both first- and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are set directly by our Sites when you visit, ie the URL displayed in the browser's address bar. Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one that you are visiting. This typically occurs when the website incorporates elements from other sites, such as images, social media plugins or advertising. When the browser or other software fetches these elements from the other sites, they can set cookies as well. For example, Facebook and Twitter. To view this third-party content, you first have to accept their specific terms and conditions. This includes their cookie policies, which we have no control over. A list of third party organizations and their respective cookies and processing purposes can be found and managed in our Cookies Consent tool.
  • The types of cookies we use on our Sites are listed below and fall under two categories: Strictly Necessary and Optional cookies (Preference, Statistic and Marketing cookies). The type of cookies that we place when you visit our Sites will depend on your choice.

These cookies are optional and help us to understand how you interact with our Sites and to monitor our Sites performance.
