This is a 3 digit number found at the bottom of your cheque and identifies the financial institution where your account is held.

This is a 5-digit number found at the bottom of your cheque and identifies the branch where your account is held. Also referred to as Transit number.

This number is found at the bottom of your cheques, to the right of the institution number.

This is a 5 digit number fround to the right of the branch address and identifies the branch where your account is held. This number may be different from the branch number at the bottom of your cheque.

Each deposit slip in an order is sequentially numbered. You may select any starting number between 1 and 9999.

For U.S. dollar accounts - The words U.S. FUNDS will be included on your deposit slip along with a transaction code 45 (which appears in the MICR line). Transaction code 45 is a mandatory requirement from Payments Canada for deposit slips issued on a U.S. dollar account.
